    Project Manager II – Central Advancement

     

    Description:

    This position oversees a broad range of project management and development functions and ensures that foundation and annual giving strategies are carried out for the Central Development Office, the Office of the Provost, and the Office of Student Affairs. This position is responsible for identifying giving opportunities, and tracking alumni, student, parent and faculty engagement to generate development opportunities and gifts to support scholarships, study abroad, undergraduate research, and other philanthropic priorities. This position reports to the Senior Director of Development and works closely with the Office of the Provost and the Office of Student Affairs. This person must also be able to function as an integral part of a team which designs and implements successful fund-raising programs that include annual giving, planned giving, and major gifts to maximize private gift support.

    Director - Gift & Biographical Records

     

    Description:

    The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Director of Gift and Biographical Records that oversees the daily deposit, processing, and receipting of all gifts and pledges, adhering to IRS regulations, CASE best practices, University/Foundation systems and controls, and donor intent. Leads a team of Gift Bio employees to ensure timely recording, depositing, and receipting of gifts, while staying current with important biographical updates to the constituent records in the database of record. Captures data in a timely manner, scans important gift documentation, and streamlines the processes that cause the department to have decreased turnover time. Finds solutions to cleanse and ensure future data integrity within the CRM system, including pledges, biographical data, duplicate records, and designations. Monitors developments within the Advancement community by maintaining contact with professionals nationwide to ensure that UAB is maintaining best practices in departmental procedures.

    Alumni Affairs Specialist II

     

    Description:

    The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks an Alumni Affairs Specialist II to coordinate alumni engagement activities and programs. The Alumni Affairs Specialist II (AASII) supervises and works with alumni team members to coordinate and implement the alumni activities for the campus school-based networks including working with school Deans, Development Directors and Campus Alumni Representatives to ensure all alumni activities are focused to improve the relationship between the alumni, the school and the university. The AASII has budgetary responsibility for alumni programming for the UAB National Alumni Society and is responsible for alumni network development for constituent-based (on-campus) and regionally based alumni groups.

    Description:

    The Senior Director of Development – Corporate and Foundation Relations – is a fund-raising strategist with demonstrated experience opening doors to local, regional and national corporations and foundations. The Senior Director will organize, plan, and steward major projects and initiatives from fruition through goal. The Senior Director initiates and conducts personal visits with assigned corporations and foundations and accompanies University leadership, Deans and/or faculty members, and/or campus development officers on foundation/corporation visits as applicable.
