Associate Director - Gifts & Records Administration
Description:
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks an Associate Director of Gift and Records Administration to work in the Office of Advancement with the Gift and Biographical Records team. This position will assist and manage the gift and biographical record processing responsible for the required data entry for all philanthropic contributions and constituent data. The Associate Director will support the creation, implementation and management of internal data entry policies and procedures for the successful recording, maintaining, receipting, and documenting of gifts and grants. The incumbent will be accountable for accurate and timely administration contributions to ensure they are in accordance with IRS regulations and CASE standards.
Editorial Manager (UAB Medicine/Heersink School of Medicine)
Description:
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks an Editorial Manager for the UAB Medicine/Heersink School of Medicine Advancement team. The primary responsibility of this position is to serve as the lead writer and editor for the UAB Medicine/Heersink School of Medicine Advancement team. This position plays a critical role in creating engaging, informative content for donors including proposals, impact reports, and materials that advance philanthropic relationships. The Editorial Manager will collaborate with the Office of Advancement, development officers, faculty, designers, and other University personnel to translate the Heersink School of Medicine’s priorities into persuasive, accurate, and compelling written content.
Development Coordinator (School of Nursing)
Description:
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Development Coordinator to join the School of Nursing office of development and alumni relations. The primary responsibility of this position is to work closely with and support the Development efforts of assigned areas in securing major gifts. This includes performing administrative duties such as CRM input and management, calendaring, scheduling travel, submitting reimbursements, and performing other duties as assigned. Candidates must have excellent project management, analytical and organizational skills.
Director of Development II (Heersink School of Medicine/UAB Medicine)
Description:
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Director of Development for the Heersink School of Medicine/UAB Medicine team. The primary responsibilities are to develop and implement strategies for identifying, cultivating, and successfully soliciting individuals, corporations and foundations and grateful patients for major gifts. The position will work with the Department Chairs and others within the Departments/Divisions to manage the planning and execution of appropriate cultivation and stewardship special events, including planning and hosting visits by donors and their representatives.
Executive Director of Development – Professional Schools
Description:
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks an Executive Director of Development for the UAB Advancement team. The Executive Director will be an experienced professional who will have the vision and ability to develop and implement comprehensive fundraising and alumni engagement strategies for the Schools of Dentistry, Health Professions, Nursing, Optometry, and Public Health. The Executive Director will organize, plan, and lead fundraising projects and initiatives through a team-based approach to securing major, principal and transformational gifts. The incumbent must possess a proven ability to present complex information in a clear and compelling manner and the capacity to clearly comprehend and communicate the University’s mission and ongoing initiatives.
