  • Project Manager II

     

    Description:

    The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Project Manager II for the Office of Advancement. This position will oversee a broad range of project management and development functions for the Central Development Office, the Office of the Provost, and the Office of Student Affairs. This position will work with key advancement and university staff to identify giving opportunities and manage projects that will generate gifts from alumni, students, parents, and faculty to support scholarships, study abroad, undergraduate research, and other philanthropic priorities.

    Sr. Development Director - School of Health Professions

     

    Description:

    The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Senior Director of Development to manage/lead a team of advancement professionals in the School of Health Professions and will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising plans and strategies to effectively solicit and secure major and mid-level gifts. The position is responsible for providing operational and strategic oversight of key initiatives to advance the School of Health Professions strategic priorities. To execute a collaborative approach to leadership, the preferred candidate will have experience as a member of a successful development leadership team, preferably in higher education.     The Director of Development for Medical Education and Alumni is a fundraising professional responsible for generating private gift support from alumni (including MD graduates and former residents and fellows), individuals, corporations and foundations by successfully identifying, cultivating and soliciting assigned prospects. Expected outcomes include intentional meetings with unqualified and/or qualified prospects to build and maintain a portfolio of high capacity/net worth prospects. The Director of Development will effectively collaborate with faculty, colleagues and staff both within their unit and across campus to maximize philanthropic efforts.

    Annual Giving Manager – Benevolent Fund

     

    Description:

    The Annual Giving Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of Benevolent Fund marketing strategies for the Office of Annual Giving. Responsible for all stages of the project lifecycle from concept to development to proofing, including piece design guidance and strategy. May provide specific technical support in area of expertise. Carries out specific project objectives and directives. Work will often consist of handling varied technical tasks.
