  • Development Coordinator – Heersink School of Medicine

    Description:

    The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Development Coordinator to join the Heersink School of Medicine development office. The primary responsibility of this position is to work closely with and support the Development efforts of assigned areas. This includes performing administrative duties such as CRM input and management, calendaring, scheduling travel, writing and editing copy for correspondence and submitting reimbursements. Candidates must have excellent project management, analytical and organizational skills.

    This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Development within the Heersink School of Medicine. The Development Coordinator works with the Development Officers and other University personnel and must be able to function as an integral part of a team to facilitate successful fundraising programs.     Description:

    The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Director for the Heersink School of Medicine, Medical Alumni Association within the Office of Advancement. The position is responsible for developing and implementing engagement, communication, and event strategies that strengthen and enhance programs for alumni and student engagement. The Director will manage student and young alumni programming, plan and execute meetings, educational programs, special events and more to enhance alumni engagement efforts.

    Administrative Associate

    Description:

    The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks an Administrative Associate to join the Office of Advancement. The primary responsibility of this position is to work closely with and support the Executive Directors of Development for Professional Schools and University Schools and Colleges. The incumbent will provide comprehensive administrative, operational, and fiscal support by coordinating calendars, meetings, travel, communications, records management, and office operations.

    The incumbent will serve as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring exceptional customer service, effective communication, and efficient office procedures.     Director of Development – Heersink School of Medicine

    Description:

    The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Director of Development for the Heersink School of Medicine Development team. The position will serve as a primary frontline major gift officer for assigned departments, centers, and institutes within the Heersink School of Medicine. This includes developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies to advance philanthropic priorities within the assigned units.
