  • Director of Development UAB Heersink School of Medicine – Medical Education and Alumni

     

    Description:

    The Director of Development for Medical Education and Alumni is a fundraising professional responsible for generating private gift support from alumni (including MD graduates and former residents and fellows), individuals, corporations, and foundations by successfully identifying, cultivating, and soliciting assigned prospects. Expected outcomes include intentional meetings with unqualified and/or qualified prospects to build and maintain a portfolio of high capacity/net worth prospects. The Director of Development will effectively collaborate with faculty, colleagues, and staff both within their unit and across campus to maximize philanthropic efforts.

    Prospect Research Analyst

     

    Description:

    The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Prospect Research Analyst to conduct thorough research analysis on prospect interest and/or funding opportunities using various online and print resources to identify corporate and foundation partners for various clinical and academic initiatives at UAB. They will work closely with the Advancement Corporate and Foundation Relations Office to produce profiles and comprehensive lists of corporate and foundation suspects for fundraisers.

    Associate Manager – Athletics Annual Giving

     

    Description:

    The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a fundraising professional to join UAB Athletics as the Associate Manager – Athletics Annual Giving. Under the supervision of the Annual Giving Manager – Athletics/Assistant AD for Development, this position will assist UAB Athletics Blazer Boosters office with revenue generation through annual fundraising initiatives including managing a portfolio of annual fund donors and prospects. This position will proactively recruit and secure new memberships to grow the annual fund in UAB Athletics. The Associate Manager – Athletics may oversee donor/prospect events, manage stewardship and benefits execution, and manage some gameday operations on behalf of Blazer Boosters.
