The 3rd annual conference of the Center for Addiction and Pain Prevention and Intervention, the 2026 Alabama Summit on Addiction and Pain, will be held on November 2-3, 2026, in the UAB Marnix E. Heersink Conference Center.

Keynote speakers will be:

• Walter J. Koroshetz, M.D., Director of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, National Institutes of Health. (NIH NINDS).
• Theodore (Ted) Price, Ph.D., Director of the Center for Advanced Pain Studies (CAPS), Ashbel Smith Professor, Department of Neuroscience, University of Texas at Dallas.
