The Pain and Addiction Special Interest Group (PASIG) is an initiative sponsored and supported by CAPPI and the Clinical & Population Health Sciences Program. The Clinical & Population Health Sciences Program (CPHS) is a joint program between the UAB Divisions of Preventive Medicine (DOPM) and General Internal Medicine (GIM) that has as its primary goal to grow a cadre of physician-researchers at UAB through a combination of external recruitment and an internal General Internal Medicine Research Fellowship training.
