The Bachelor of Science in Cancer Biology is the only program of its kind in the U.S. to specifically train students in this field. The broad-based nature of the program is a distinct strength. Students will be exposed to multiple disciplines within biomedical science such as:
- cell and molecular biology
- pathology
- microbiology
- pharmacology
- medicinal chemistry
- immunology
We anticipate developing future courses encompassing public health and the epidemiological (and even sociological) aspects of cancer.
