Stephen Barnes

Stephen Barnes is a professor of Pharmacy and Toxicology, Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics, Environmental Health Sciences, Genetics, and Vision Science. He is a director of the UAB Center for Nutrient-Gene Interaction and Director of Targeted Metabolomics and Proteomics Laboratory (TMPL) and the associate director of the Purdue-UAB Botanicals Centers for Age-Related Disease. He is also senior scientist of the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center. He received his BSc from University of Surrey, UK and his PhD from University of London, UK.

Asim K. Bej

Asim Bej received his PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of Louisville. He is a professor of Biology at UAB and specializes in microbial molecular genetics.   

Gregory Davis

Gregory Davis is an associate professor of Pathology at UAB and is the Associate Coroner/Medical Examiner at the Jefferson County Coroner/Medical Examiner Office. He received a BA in Chemistry and his MD from Vanderbilt. He earned his MSPH at UAB. 

Julio C. Rivera

Julio Rivera is an associate professor at UAB. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering as well as an MS in Business Computing Science from Texas A&M University, an MBA from the University of Southern Mississippi, and a doctorate in Business Administration from Mississippi State University. He has published more than 15 articles and professional papers.

Gary Warner

Gary Warner holds a BS in Computer and Information Sciences from UAB. He is the Director of Research in Computer Forensics. He is part of the Birmingham InfraGard, FBI Digital PhishNet, and Anti-Phishing Working Group. His research interests include cybercrime investigation, anti-spam, anti-phishing, cyber incident handling, cyber incident rapid response development, and malware analysis.
