Sanjeev Acharya

Sanjeev Acharya (PhD 2020) is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the Arkansas State University.

He teaches Medical Sociology, Introduction to Sociology, and Research Methods among other courses. He studies health disparities, global health, and social factors in health (socioeconomic status, gender).

Dr. Acharya has published research in The Lancet – EclinicalMedicine, Journal of Racial and Ethnic Disparities, Reproductive Health, and The Journal of Psychology.
