Paul McGuire works independently helping individuals and families achieve their desired life design. Paul is an avid travel enthusiast. He has led his family in their travels to over 35 countries in the past five years and is an expert in long-term, long-distance travel planning. He has extensive experience with personal financial coaching, having been certified by the Dave Ramsey organization since 2007.

Paul has several years of adult education and professional development experience in the corporate sector. In his last full-time role, he was the Manager of IT Training at UAB. In that capacity, he developed training strategies, programs, and courses for IT professionals and end users. Paul also served three years as Manager of Management Development at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama. There, he developed classes, coached and mentored new managers, directed the Management Candidate program, taught classes for all levels of management and non-management, and worked with senior leadership to address developmental needs within the organization.

Paul has over 20 years of experience in information technology, including 10 years in technology management. He has managed multiple technology disciplines ranging from call center to desktop, server, network and mainframe engineering teams.

He is a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He and his wife Kami journal their travels recreationally at leavethebubble.com.
