Ms. Amy Zari is this year's recipient of the 2019 Charles E. Alexander Memorial Transportation Engineering ALSITE Scholarship. Amy is an honors Civil Engineering student at UAB and a member of the UAB Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) student Chapter. She is an officer of the UAB American Society of Civil Engineers and a member of Alpha Xi Delta - Theta Phi Chapter. She has interned with the Traffic Engineering Department of the City of Huntsville, AL (2018), Sain Associates (2017-2018), and the Engineering Department of the City of Madison, AL (2016). In her spare time, she volunteers with the Habitat for Humanity, supporting the efforts of the Habitat Campus Club at UAB to build houses for those in need in the Birmingham area.
