The Integrative Center for Aging Research (ICAR) has support resources designed to be highly flexible, providing punctual funding support for expanding professional horizons and specific needs during grant proposal development. Requests must be related to aging research and are limited to ICAR members with a UAB appointment.
Requests are reviewed on a rolling basis. No indirect costs will be disbursed. Allowable expenses include (but are not limited to) software licensing, resources/equipment, publication fees, career development training programs, conference registration fees and travel, and, in general, other expenses for expanding professional horizons. Unallowable costs include participant incentives.
