Innovate Fellow

Govardhan is currently pursuing his master’s degree in data science at UAB. He holds a bachelor’s in computer science. Govardhan specializes in Internet of Things (IoT), particularly the LoRaWAN Communication Protocol, and has served as an IoT application engineer at CyberEye, a start-up in India, contributing to the development of cutting-edge IoT/low-power wide-area network (LPWAN) systems for international clients. His extensive experience includes internships focused on LoRaWAN technology and IoT prototype development, showcasing his commitment to innovation and hands-on learning.

Beyond his technical expertise, Govardhan actively participates in co-curricular and extracurricular activities such as organizing workshops on IoT, contributing to the success of the Amaravati Mini Maker Faire 2018, and mentoring over 500 students in IoT Bootcamp Trainings and IoT Workshops. In 2023, Govardhan joined the Bill L. Harbert Institute as an Innovate Fellow, aiming to get a comprehensive understanding of the entrepreneurial environment. In his spare time, he likes hiking, playing board games, and volunteering.
