I am a sophomore in the neuroscience program. Previously, I studied the association of increased pain sensitivity and detectable viral load in individuals with HIV in Dr. Burel Goodin's lab. I presented at multiple conferences and received first place in four. My current research is with Dr. Goodin and regards the biopsychosocial model as it relates to chronic lower back pain. After graduation, I plan to go to medical school at UAB. I am a Spaatz Cadet in Civil Air Patrol, and I enjoy dogs, flying, and coffee more than I care to admit.
