The materials on this site are organized according to a user's role in a particular Blackboard course. Use the buttons on the right to find the information you need based on whether you are an instructor, a designer, or a student. As of February 1st, employee training is accessible through the UAB Faculty and Staff Learning System. Please visit http://www.uab.edu/learningsystem to browse training opportunities, register for classes, track training histories and access other resources. The UAB Faculty & Staff Learning System is a learning management system that is customized for UAB to provide faculty and staff with a wide array of online training tools and resources 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For UAB Medicine employees, this system is formerly known as HealthStream.

FIRST TIME USERS: If you are logging in to Blackboard for the first time, it is necessary that you prepare your computer. Most of the problems people face when using Blackboard can be resolved easily by doing a browser tune-up and adding plug-ins before trying to log in the first time.
