CWRH About MD PH research 1000x500

The UAB Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology established the Center for Women's Reproductive Health (CWRH) 1993 with the mission to conduct research aimed at improving the reproductive health and survival of all women, especially minority and under-served women and offspring, and their families. Additionally, the CWRH aims to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration between UAB researchers and others and developing scholars interested in women's reproductive health.

The CWRH works in conjunction with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and many other UAB entities - including the Schools of Health Related Professions, Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering and Public Health - to accomplish its mission. Part of this mission includes recruiting researchers interested in women's reproductive health into formal research collaborations.
