Staff Diversity Liaisons offer support and programming for the professional advancement of underrepresented staff at Heersink School of Medicine. Each department and campus appoints at least one staff person for group membership—though large departments have the option of appointing more than one representative.
Group members are committed to:
• Enhancing diversity at Heersink and building a more inclusive environment for all.
• Advising ODI and providing feedback on priorities, initiatives, activities, and issues.
• Helping ODI understand various cultures within departments, including their needs and how they may best be supported.
