I chose UAB for residency and fellowship because of the breadth of experience as well as the wonderful people that make up the program…I feel comfortable now with managing patients on an inpatient consult service, inpatient palliative care and hospice units, home hospice patients, as well as outpatient palliative medicine. ~ Dr. Katie Briggs (Class of 2017-2018)
