VA Quality Scholars Fellowship (VAQS)

VA Chief Medical Resident in Quality and Safety (CMRQS)

One-year position (PGY4, post-IM or Med-Peds Training). Integration of these concepts into the fabric of residency training programs as well as developing expertise in milestones development for System Based Practice and Problem Based Learning and Improvement. 

Mentorship and protected time are provided for teaching, research, and scholarship. Funding to attend national meetings provided.

VAQS:Submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) and a CV to Patricia Patrician, PhD, RB, FAAN (nurse applicants), Carlos Estrada, MD, MS, (physician applicants), or Jarrett Wright, PharmD, MSHI (pharmacy applicants) no later than December 1st, 2023.

In the LOI, indicate your main area of interest, desired outcome after the fellowship, and include the contact information for 3 references (name, title, email address). This is not a J-1 or H1-B opportunity.
