Rachel Sinkey is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Sinkey attended Asbury University in Wilmore, KY for her undergraduate studies and the University of Kentucky for her medical degree. She pursued obstetrics and gynecology training at TriHealth / Good Samaritan in Cincinnati, OH where her interest in the management of medical diseases in pregnancy was sparked. She subsequently pursued sub-specialty training in Maternal-Fetal medicine at the University of South Florida. Her interests include hypertension and cardiovascular disease during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their children.

Sara Mazzoni is a board-certified Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has been faculty at UAB since 2016. The majority of her clinical time is spent on labor and delivery, however, she also serves as the director of the group prenatal care clinic for women with gestational diabetes in our Obstetrics Complications Clinic. Her research and educational interests include healthcare delivery models, such as group prenatal care, and perinatal mental health. Additionally, she serves as the assistant program director for our residency family planning curriculum.

Sheri Jenkins, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, board-certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, has been on faculty at UAB for 11 years. She serves primarily as a clinician-educator, but has done research in obstetrical ultrasound as well. Her clinical duties predominantly involve performing and interpreting fetal ultrasound. She also performs prenatal care and deliveries for women with high-risk pregnancies. She is the Director of Obstetrical Ultrasound for the Ob/Gyn Department. Her educational role involves teaching obstetrical ultrasound and overseeing the prenatal and delivery care provided by our Ob/Gyn residents and Maternal–Fetal Medicine fellows. She gives didactic lectures regarding common pregnancy complications and fetal anomalies and their management.
