This if for URiM students who are either already scheduled to come for a visiting rotation or students who have applied through VSAS but have not yet been accepted for a rotation. Students should be competitive and from under-represented backgrounds in medicine – this is someone who self identifies as African American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, and Mainland Puerto Rican.

APGO Directory of OB/Gyn Residency Programs
The APGO Directory of Residencies is a database widely used by third and fourth-year medical students and advisors to compare and assess OB/Gyn residency programs. It also provides answers to commonly asked questions about these programs in the U.S. or Canada. You may obtain our UAB institutional ID and password from the Clerkship Coordinator (Christy Willis, phone 975-0721).
FREIDA Directory of Residency Programs
FREIDA Online is a database containing information on approximately 7,500 graduate medical education programs that are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), as well as on 200 combined specialty programs. The site provides statistics summarizing training in each specialty and subspecialty.
