Biography

Dr Forbush works as a physiatrist to diagnose and treat individuals with spine and musculoskeletal disease/injury. His goal is to restore function and quality of life for his patients. Additionally he helps to diagnose neuromuscular disease through electrodiagnostic testing (electromyography and nerve conduction studies). He also works as rehab liaison to UAB Highlands Hospital, and guides individuals as they transition from Highlands Hospital to their rehabilitation/recovery phase.

Dr Forbush received his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2014. He completed his internship at Baptist Health System in Birmingham, Alabama and then completed residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Thereafter he joined the UAB Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as assistant professor.
