| Desmin Milner, M.D., completed her undergraduate training at Xavier University of Louisiana, followed by medical school at University of Alabama Heersink School of Medicine. She then completed her residency training in Diagnostic Radiology, during which she served as Co-Chief Resident in her final year. She completed fellowship training in Neuroradiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham before she joined the faculty in the Neuroradiology section. She is passionate about medical student and resident education. She now serves as the Co-Director of Medical Student Education in the Department of Radiology. She serves on the Department of Radiology Diversity and Inclusion Committee as well as the Diversity subcommittee in the Dean’s Council for Graduate Medical Education.
