Kamlesh Jobanputra, M.D., MBBS, received his medical degree from Topiwala National Medical College, Mumbai, and went on to successfully complete his Radiology residency from Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences, Mumbai. He also completed a post-doctoral certificate course in Neuroradiology at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Medical Sciences, Lucknow. Houman Sotoudeh, M.D. earned his medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. He completed his Radiology residency at Tehran University of Medical Science as well. He then completed a Neuroradiology, a Nuclear Radiology and a Pediatric Radiology Fellowship at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University in ST Louis. Dr. Sotoudeh joined the faculty at ARAK University of Medical Sciences, Arak, Iran and also served as a Neuroradiologist at Zwanger-Pesiri Radiology located in Long Island, New York before joining the UAB Radiology Department in 2017. Dr. Sotoudeh's clinical expertise are in Neuroradiology, Nuclear Radiology, and Pediatric Radiology/Neuroradiology. His research interests are in Advance Imaging in Neuroradiology (fMRI, DTI, CT/MR perfusion, MRS), PETMR application and new tracers in neuroradiology and PETMR application in oncology. Desmin Milner, M.D., completed her undergraduate training at Xavier University of Louisiana, followed by medical school at University of Alabama Heersink School of Medicine. She then completed her residency training in Diagnostic Radiology, during which she served as Co-Chief Resident in her final year. She completed fellowship training in Neuroradiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham before she joined the faculty in the Neuroradiology section. She is passionate about medical student and resident education. She now serves as the Co-Director of Medical Student Education in the Department of Radiology. She serves on the Department of Radiology Diversity and Inclusion Committee as well as the Diversity subcommittee in the Dean’s Council for Graduate Medical Education.
