Yoginder N. Vaid, M.D., completed his undergraduate training at Delhi University in New Delhi India. He received his Medical schooling at Maulana Azad Medical College, also at Delhi University. He completed an Internship at Irwin Hospital in New Delhi India where he also served as House Officer in Medicine and Radiology. He completed a Diagnostic Residency at Lady Hardinge Medical College at the University of Delhi in New Delhi India, and another Diagnostic Residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Alabama (UAB). He completed Pediatric Radiology Fellowship at The Children’s Hospital Medical Center and Harvard Medical School in Boston Massachusetts. He joined the UAB and Children’s of Alabama faculty in the pediatric radiology section where he has served for over 25 years.

Dr. Vaid is currently the Ultrasound Medical Director, chair of the Ultrasound Quality Assurance Committee, and a member of the Physician Peer Review Committee as well as Credentials Committee at Children’s of Alabama. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Radiology (ABR) and is current in his Certificate of Added Qualification in Pediatric Radiology from the ABR.Yoginder N. His area of clinical practice is pediatric radiology with special interest in pediatric ultrasound and spine imaging.
