With an abundance of caution, the UAB Department of Surgery has decided to cancel the 2022 CME Course “Best Practices in General Surgery” previously scheduled for Jan. 28-29. We have been diligently monitoring COVID hospitalizations, guidelines, and policies and feel it the safest decision for our participants, who are largely healthcare providers. Due to the complexity of the event, we feel a virtual option is not possible. Refunds will be issued and needed information sent to those who were registered. If you do not receive further guidance as a registrant in the new few days, please reach out to surgcomm@uabmc.edu.
