John Christein, M.D.John Christein, M.D., was selected to be part of a new program from the ACS Division of Education., an associate professor in the Division of Gastrointestinal Surgery, was recently selected to be part of a new program from the American College of Surgeons Division of Education.

Christein will join the pancreas decision-making workgroup and develop cases to address a specific area of the new ACS Operative Decision Making Program. This program will focus on intraoperative decision-making and surgical judgment. Each case will be peer-reviewed within each workgroup using the best evidence available and each member’s expertise.
