Donna Antoine-LaVigne, PhD, MSEd, MPH (JSU): Dr. Antoine-LaVigne is the Associate Director of the Community Partnership and Outreach Office of the Jackson Heart Study.  Dr. Antoine-Lavigne is the Director of the Community Education and Outreach Engagement Core of the P20 COE (funded by NIMHD 2012-2017). She has been at the Jackson Heart Study since its inception and laid the foundation for the recruitment of the 5,301 African American cohort through targeted outreach activities. In addition, she consulted with the Mississippi State Department of Health for over 15 years. During this time, she developed two statewide plans, Health Disparities and HIV Care and Services, and created and managed state and local coalitions and partnerships to address health disparities in the African American community.
