Claudia Leonardi, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Research in the School of Public Health, LSUHSC – New Orleans.  Dr. Leonardi is a biostatistician whose research interests includes health disparities and clinical outcomes.  Dr. Leonardi is head of the Louisiana Biostatistics and Study Design Core within the U54-Mid-South Transdisciplinary Collaborative Center for Health Disparities Research and a biostatistician for the R24-Community-Academic Partnership to Address Health Disparities in New Orleans and the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Heersink School of Medicine.  She collaborates on cross-disciplinary projects and is involved in all aspects of research projects including study design, sample size calculation, data collection and analysis, and manuscript preparation. Her area of research interest includes clinical and patient reported outcomes, health disparities and multilevel modeling.
