Sequoya Eady is a Program Administrator in the Division of Preventive Medicine in the UAB Heersink School of Medicine. Sequoya is a two-time alumnus of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, holding a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and a Masters of Public Health in Healthcare Organization and Policy. She has a wealth of knowledge in the areas of health promotion and healthcare organization. With an overarching goal of becoming an academic physician, Sequoya plans to specialize in rural medicine with an emphasis on using policy to alleviate health disparities by addressing the social determinants of health. In addition to overseeing the daily operations for Mid-South TCC, Sequoya provides research support and technical assistance to community coalitions in the six mid-south states.
