Dr. Anderson is a Research Associate in the Division of Preventive Medicine at UAB. He has extensive experience in research study implementation and management, having worked on both quantitative and qualitative studies across a range of topics including the effects of information and communication technology use on quality of life among older adults, barriers to care and adherence to care among people living with HIV/AIDS, development of patient-centered outcomes measures, and the development of a behavioral intervention for people suffering from chronic pain. His primary research interests involve the system and societal level factors affecting health, illness, and health disparities. |
