Guidance on program flexibility for grant applicants and awardees

DOE has started to extend deadlines for funding opportunities open to research universities.  Extensions are still on a case by case basis, and we recommend that researchers contact the lead program manager assigned to the funding opportunity for up to date information on due dates. 

  • The DOE Early Career Research Program call, due on March 16, extended to March 30th .
  • The High-Energy-Density Laboratory Plasma Science funding call, due on March 16, extended until April 6th .

DOJ/Office of Community Oriented Policing Services  Office (COPS)

COPS has extended the solicitation deadline for several open grant programs due to the potential impact of jurisdictional emergency responses to COVID-19 that may cause reasonable delays for applicants. For detailed individual program information, see the grants page.

DOJ/Office of Justice Programs

OJP announced that solicitations with application due dates before April 1st will have a 2 week extension for submission.  We will continue to monitor the situation and determine if additional adjustments to closing dates will be needed, see the grants page.
