Harvest for Health is an NCI-funded trial that fulfills the criteria for “cancer control credit” established by the Commission on Cancer. Referring practices therefore are eligible to receive credit for enrolled participants.
As a community-based study, our partnerships with clinicians throughout the state are vital for our success. Thank you for supporting the NCI-funded Harvest for Health program by sharing our study with your patients. We are currently recruiting cancer survivors aged 65+ across Alabama. All participants will receive roughly $500 worth of gardening supplies and mentorship from a master gardener in order to establish, maintain, and harvest from a successful vegetable garden right in their own yard (or patio).
