UAB’s student newspaper turns fifty
“The Kaleidoscope” student newspaper will celebrate its fiftieth anniversary during Homecoming week on Saturday, Oct. 7. Starting at 10 a.m., current and former editors, staff and advisors will converge for a brunch event in the Hill Student Center Ballroom to commemorate the publication’s years of telling the story of UAB students. -
Free block party scheduled for Friday, Sept. 1
UAB Housing and Residence Life along with UAB Student Media will host the Blazer Block Party on Friday, Sept. 1. Students are invited to enjoy entertainment from BlazeRadio’s own DJ Jul_YEEEn and Baby Chad while enjoying FREE pizza and ice cream sandwiches.
