UAB needs Social Ambassadors to support I Heart UAB Giving Day on April 12! Social Ambassadors are volunteers that spread the word about I Heart UAB Giving Day through things like social media or email. With different levels of Social Ambassador involvement, you can decide how you want to help. The types of Social Ambassadors are:
Social Media Ambassadors will be there to share information across their social media for I Heart UAB Giving Day! If you volunteer to be a Social Media Ambassador, you will be put into a drawing for a $50 prize, and will need to do the following:
- Like, comment, and share each social media post about I Heart UAB Giving Day from the Campaign for UAB page
- Update your profile picture with the I Heart UAB Giving Day filter
Online Ambassadors take the next step in getting the word out for I Heart UAB Giving Day! If you volunteer to be an Online Ambassador, you will be put into a drawing for a $100 prize, and will need to do the following:
- Complete the tasks listed for Social Media Ambassadors
- Email 5 friends to tell them about I Heart UAB Giving Day using the email template that will be provided to you
Broadcast Ambassadors are dedicated to supporting UAB! If you volunteer to be a Broadcast Ambassador, you will be put into a drawing for a $250 prize, and will need to do the following:
- Complete the tasks listed for Social Media Ambassadors and Online Ambassadors
- Participate in an online meeting for training on Relay texting
- Send text messages to a list of other alumni
