The UAB Division of Student Affairs held its annual One-Day Conference on Thursday, May 16, with more than 130 Blazers attending. The Student Affairs Professional Development Committee hosted the free event.
On Tuesday, May 7, the UAB Division of Student Affairs hosted its annual End of Year Awards Celebration to recognize the excellence, innovation and impact of Student Affairs programs, staff, and departments. In addition to recognizing Student Affairs professionals for milestones, honors and recognitions received throughout the year.
On March 6, the University of Alabama at Birmingham's Vice President for Student Affairs, John R. Jones, III, Ph.D. and Assistant Vice President for Student Health & Wellbeing, Rebecca Kennedy, Ph.D., awarded UAB counselors Kiera Walker, MA, LPC, NCC and Julia Sanford, LICSW, with "Excellence in Action" Coins.
