Join UAB Student Affairs for the fourth annual Taste of UABham festival on Friday, November 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hill Student Center. Students can discover new food and music, play games, and win free prizes. This free outdoor festival is a chance for students to taste, hear, and experience the Magic City!

5 things to discover at Taste of UABham:

  1. Experience some of Birmingham’s best food trucks
    Explore the food truck line-up and try a new dish! Students can expect to see  Thirstea Cafe, Alabama Peanut Co., Not Ya Average Leaf and more at Taste of UABham! From sweet to savory to spicy, there’s something for everyone!
  1. Listen to music with friends
    Get into that Friday feeling dancing to a live DJ and other various musical performances. 
  1. Play outdoor games
    After exploring the food truck scene, stop by the Amphitheater and challenge your friends to a series of yard games. 
  1. Learn more about Birmingham’s city life
    Birmingham has a rich history and many top rated restaurants, museums, and parks for you to enjoy with friends, or to show your family when they visit. We’ll have community partners like Vulcan Park & Museum, McWane Science Center, and more on site.
  1. Take advantage of giveaways
    Make sure to get to the festival early - the first 250 students to attend will receive a free voucher to Magic City Eats! Additionally, if you’re one of the first 150 attendees, you’ll receive a free event t-shirt. Stop by at all of the amazing vendors to check out other freebies and prizes!
