Calling all UAB student organization leaders; Freshmen Move-In Day 2019 is around the corner! This year’s move-in will take place on Saturday, August 24. Volunteers will assist freshman students and families as they move into Blazer Hall, Camp Hall and the New Freshmen Residence Hall.  

Are you or your organization interested in lending a helping hand? Please review and adhere to the following information and instructions if you plan to participate! A mandatory volunteer meeting for all organization leaders will take place on Friday, August 23 at 3 p.m.  At least one representative from your organization must be present at this meeting. 

T-shirts will be given to volunteers at the mandatory meeting prior to move-in day, but will also be available on move-in day.  Every volunteer will need to wear a volunteer t-shirt.  Student organizations are welcome to wear buttons, hats, etc. that represent their organization, but no other school logos or attire will be permitted. If your organization is interested in volunteering please complete the online form below. It will ask for:

  • Individual or Organization Name
  • Volunteer Coordinator’s Name & Contact Info (please use your UAB email address)
  • Number of volunteers and t-shirt sizes
