The end of the semester brings about a lot of stressors ­– studying for finals, preparing for the holidays and even thinking ahead to the new year. Luckily, there’s a week full of events that will help you unwind and Stress Less!

Student Counseling Services is hosting Stress Less Week from Dec. 2-6. Each day will feature fun, engaging activities, all aimed at helping you relax, refresh and renew your body and mind as you prepare for the end of the semester. 


Monday, December 2

5:30-6:30 p.m. - Buti Yoga 

Stop by the Campus Rec Center and let that stress go! Join us for some positive vibes and exhilarating moves with Buti Yoga! Get FREE Stress Less Week T-shirts at this event!


Tuesday, December 3

11 a.m.- 2 p.m. - Relaxation Station

Come to the first floor of the Hill Student Center to create a personalized novelty item and enjoy a free massage while you wait. Grab a free Stress Less Week T-shirt while they last!

6 p.m. - Movie Night

Join us in the Hill Student Center Alumni Theater for a showing of Spider-Man: Far from Home as you wind down before finals. Enjoy FREE popcorn and dessert bars at this event!


Wednesday, December 4

7-9 p.m. - Pizza, Paint and Play! 

Show off your art skills with awesome canvas painting, board games, pizza and music in the Hill Student Center dining hall. Stress Less Week T-shirts will be given away at this event!


Thursday, December 5

7-9 p.m. – Bonfire

Feeling burnt out? Lighten up! Meet us at the bonfire at the Mini Park for live music, T-shirt giveaways and food vouchers provided by Magic City Eats!


Friday, December 6

11 a.m.-1 p.m. - emPOWer Hour

Join the Promoters of Wellness at the Commons Plaza to learn healthier coping tips for finals. Free buttons available while they last!
