UAB Campus Recreation will host a bench pressing contest on Sat. Nov. 11 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. The Blazer Bench Off will take place in the Campus Recreation’s Fitness Center with three separate events divided into male and female divisions. Each event will include competitions of the following:
- Battle of who can bench press the most weight
- Battle of who has the strongest bench press pound for pound
- Battle of endurance in bench pressing the most reps (135 lbs. for men and 65 lbs. for women)
Each event is $5; and participants must register at imleagues.com.
