Do you know a high-achieving Blazer or student organization who deserves recognition? The Department of Student Involvement and Leadership will open its call for nominations for the 2018 Student Excellence Awards on Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, at 8 a.m. UAB students, faculty and staff are encouraged to submit nominations.
Nominations will close on March 9, 2018, at 5 p.m., so be sure to submit yours soon! The Student Excellence Awards will honor high-achieving students and student organizations for their outstanding leadership and service contributions to UAB's campus and community during the 2017-2018 school year. The official award show will take place on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at 7 p.m. in the Hill Student Center Ballrooms. Doors open at 6 p.m. and cocktail attire is recommended. Visit the official UAB Student Excellence Awards website for a full look at this year's nomination categories. Nominations will only be accepted from UAB faculty, staff or students. Self-nominations will also be accepted.
