The annual UAB Crawfish Boil is back again, and this year, the state fair experience is returning to the Campus Green and beyond, featuring rides, games, fair food, and a Ferris wheel!

Date: Friday, April 17, 2026
Time: 6–9 p.m.
Location: UAB Campus Green extended to 10th Avenue South
Road Closure: 10th Avenue South will be closed beginning April 17 at midnight until 10 p.m.
Entry: Free for UAB students and $10 for UAB employees with a valid ONE Card (includes a wristband for food, games, and rides). Payments are electronic only.

What to Expect:

• Food

  Enjoy crawfish, Magic City Eats, and classic fair favorites like mini donuts, lemonade, cotton candy, and more. A wristband grants access to a serving of crawfish and three food vendors. Blazers can purchase additional food and drinks with credit cards or Blazer Bucks.

• Games & Novelties

  Test your skills at Wack-a-Mole, skee ball, and water gun races, or enjoy yard games and a caricature artist. Each wristband includes access to three games or novelties.

• Rides

  Feel the adrenaline rush on the Ferris wheel, fun slide, and the Sizzler with unlimited ride access via wristband.
