Need money for student loans? Have one year to commit?

UAB Career and Professional Development and the YWCA Central Alabama’s “Building Communities, Bettering Lives” AmeriCorps program will host an AmeriCorps Career Fair on Friday, April 1 from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. in the Hill Student Center Ballroom. The event is an opportunity for UAB seniors and graduate students to meet with more than 20 agencies about AmeriCorps opportunities. Members will receive a stipend of $1,000 a month (pre-taxes), health insurance, child care subsidy, student loan forbearance and an education award of $5,730 upon completion of the program.
