Grad Week activities for 2022 have been announced by the Division of Student Affairs at UAB.
Grad Week, which occurs during the spring semester of each academic year, enables students to explore post-graduation opportunities, develop school spirit and campus pride, and form a sense of community among soon-to-be UAB alumni.
The week-long celebration is hosted by Blazer Spirit Council, Off-Campus Student and Family Engagement, UAB National Alumni Society, Office of the Provost, and UAB Career Center.
Grad Week 2022 is scheduled for April 24 – 30 and is jam-packed with events catered to UAB’s graduating student community.
Full schedule of activities planned for the week includes:
Grad Brunch | Sunday, April 24 | 12 – 2 p.m.
Michael’s Restaurant
Join us for brunch celebrating the Class of 2022! Limited seating is available. Graduates can purchase up to 3 tickets at $12 each. The ticket link will be emailed to graduating students and available for purchase until April 15 or until tickets are sold out. Tickets will include food and beverage. All ticket sales will be final.

Grad Paint Night | Monday, April 25 | 5:30 – 7 p.m.
HSC Amphitheater
The Blazer Spirit Council invites you to participate in this fun painting event facilitated by Sips & Strokes, featuring a UAB inspired design. RSVP through the Engage event by April 22. Limited spots are available. Rain location: HSC 204/206

Almost Alumni | Tuesday, April 26 | 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
HSC 1st Floor
Join the UAB National Alumni Society and UAB Career Center to learn how to stay connected with UAB after graduation. Also, participate in the “leaf your mark” activity and get your headshot taken in your regalia or professional attire. Graduation medallions and legacy stoles will be on sale.

Grad Movie Night | Tuesday, April 26 | 7:30 - 9 p.m.
Campus Green
Grab your blankets or lawn chairs and join BSC for the last movie night on the Green of the year. Rain location: HSC Alumni Theater.

Grad Photo Challenge | April 27 | All Day

1 Hour Prior to Graduation Ceremonies Bartow Arena
Join the Blazer Spirit Council and the Office of Off-Campus Student & Family Engagement to grab a dessert in the graduate line-up area outside of Bartow Arena while they last. Photo areas will also be available in the front of Bartow following each ceremony.
