Student Nurses’ Association wins Outstanding Student Organization at UAB’s Student Excellence Awards
The Student Excellence Awards honors UAB students and student organizations for their outstanding contributions to campus life in leadership and service. There are currently 256 registered student organizations on campus. This year, 112 nominations were submitted for the 15 award categories.
UAB’s Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity hosted their second annual Miss Blue and Gold Pageant on March 31 with all proceeds benefiting their philanthropy, The Ability Experience, a non-profit organization that serves those who are disabled.
UAB Career and Professional Development and the YWCA Central Alabama’s “Building Communities, Bettering Lives” AmeriCorps program will host an AmeriCorps Career Fair on Friday, April 1 from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. in the Hill Student Center Ballroom.
