UAB is excited to welcome Alfonso Ribeiro -- known affectionately as "Carlton" from the hit 90s TV series "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" -- for the first installment of UAB Student Involvement & Leadership's 2017 Lecture Series. The event will take place on Monday, Sept. 25, 2017 in the Hill Student Center Ballroom CD. Doors will open at 7 p.m.

Come hear Ribeiro's riveting lecture entitled “Life in Show Business.” In it, he will take the audience on his journey toward success, one that ultimately granted him over 30 years of prominence in the entertainment industry.

Many know Ribeiro as a beloved actor, but he is also a television director, award-winning dancer, Broadway star and the most current host of “America’s Funniest Home Videos.”
