USGA sponsoring free Pancake Breakfast

Pancakes = study fuel (raspberries not included)Finals begin Monday, December 9, so UAB students will undoubtedly be up late studying through the weekend. Take a break from your books to enjoy a late-night breakfast sponsored by USGA Friday, December 6 from 11 p.m.-1 a.m. at the Commons on the Green.

Your student ID will get you in for free, and you'll be treated to pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, tater tots, grits, and warm biscuits. If you need a caffeine boost there will also be coffee and soda, or you can keep things more breakfasty with milk or juice.

There will be enough food for 500 students. If fewer people show up, you can go back through the line for seconds. Don't count on it, though. The late-night pancake breakfast during Homecoming week drew around 500 students, and the finals week pancake breakfast (last seen in the spring of 2012, and now making its triumphant return) was likewise a full house.

And just in case the crowd isn't lively enough, a DJ will be spinning tunes to keep the atmosphere fun and festive.
