After experiencing the effects of the April 27th and January tornadoes, you might be filled with a little anxiety today as we're slated to receive some rough weather. Please recognize that even if a tornado does not come through our area elements like wind, rain, lightning and hail can be dangerous. What is most important is that you take precautions seriously and stay informed. We're here to help you do that.
Your main resource for updates from UAB is B-Alert. B-Alert will notify you if a tornado warning is assigned to the UAB campus. B-Alert can email, call and even text you based on your settings.
