Free Food For Thought

Free Food for Thought (FFFT) aims to create a space for students, and sometimes community members, to share their thoughts and opinions about 'hot topic' or 'hot button' current events and issues. Each semester a topic is chosen for discussion and each session is framed around that topic. Here are some of the topics FFFT has covered in the past:

Intergroup Dialogue

Intergroup Dialogue

Intergroup dialogue at UAB focuses on bringing students together across difference. Each semester our office aims to facilitate a dialogue focusing on one identity. Two trained peer facilitators lead a 10 week sustained dialogue with a group of no more than 20 students. It is important for all of the participants to attend all 10 sessions to create an atmosphere of trust and authentic communication.
