Every year, UAB gives millions of dollars in scholarships and financial aid to worthy students. That’s hundreds of scholarships for everything from academic to artistic to athletic prowess—there has to be something there for you. Don’t miss the chance to apply for the financial resources you need and deserve.
To be considered for Freshman Academic Scholarships, in-state students must be admitted to UAB by December 1 of your senior year of high school. Out-of-state students must be admitted by May 1 of your senior year of high school.
To be considered for Transfer Academic Scholarships, students who have only attended a 2-year college must be admitted to UAB by March 1 for the upcoming summer or fall semester.
For best results in obtaining Federal Financial Aid, students should submit their FAFSA by March 1.
Scholarship offers must be accepted no later than May 1—otherwise, you might invalidate your scholarship offer. Accept your offer in writing or online at uab.edu/bsmart.
