Trip Leader Positions Open!

If you are looking for part-time work that allows you to enjoy the outdoors, look no further! As an Adventure Recreation Trip Learer you would lead UAB students during the 40+ yearly trips. Climbing Wall

Climbers of all skill levels will enjoy the indoor three-story, natural look.

Trip Series
Faculty/staff, students, and community members are invited to join scheduled trips all over the country. Enjoy kayaking, skiing, white water rafting, hiking, camping and more with old and new friends! All prices include equipment and transportation.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Moss Rock Preserve (MRP) needs our help. They have purchased sign post numbers (like a mile post marker) and they need folks to hike the trails and install the markers. This will make finding your way in Moss Rock easier and help EMS find people in need.We are running a service project Saturday June 8^th from 8 AM until 2 PM. Please come out and give back to our public lands. There will be free van transportation to MRP and back to the Rec.Please tell people about our event and please join us. Deadline to sign up for is Tuesday June 4^th. Sign up can be done via phone at 996-4913.

Equipment Rental
If you want to get outdoors on your own, you can rent your equipment from Outdoor Pursuits! Camping gear, canoes, kayaks, and more are available.
