Employability Skills & QEP

“Learning in a Team Environment”, UAB’s 2015 QEP topic, is a great way to highlight the importance of building this very marketable ability when seeking internships/clinicals, jobs, and/or graduate school admission. Emotional Intelligence and the ability to work well with others will not only lead to success landing the first position, but also continue to pave the way for continued career success.

Students must use all 4+ years of their college career to build their value and integrate their experiences to make them highly sought in their chosen career areas. We have to make sure students graduate with a compelling story of why they chose their career field and what they have to offer and employer or graduate school.
