Educational Psychology and Research Instructor
Educational Psychology and Research Instructor Position Announcement:
Principal responsibilities of this position include teaching a 5/5 load for fall and spring semesters in the following areas: 1) Psychological Foundations, 2) Measurement and Evaluation, 3) statistics courses and 4) courses related to Measurement and Evaluation. All of these courses are housed in the Department of Human Studies, UAB School of Education, Teacher Education program.
Qualifications: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, possess the ability to contribute to a team approach of training prospective teachers according to national certification standards, utilize an electronic assessment system and portfolios including the scoring of high-stakes artifacts, demonstrate an ability to integrate technology into required teaching, and demonstrate an ability to respond effectively to culturally, linguistically, gender, and ethnically diversity populations. Applicants with K-
12 experience are desired.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Position begins August 2014.
